Keto Ply manufactures IS 303 commercial plywood at Yamunanagar and supplies it across Ahmedabad to SG Highway office fit-outs, Bopal and Shela flat handovers and Naroda furniture workshops, in 4 mm to 25 mm boards.
IS 303 | MR Grade | 4 mm to 25 mm
Ahmedabad's interior trade works at two speeds: the commercial fit-out market along SG Highway and Prahlad Nagar, where offices and showrooms are turned around on tight programmes, and the residential build-out through Bopal, Shela, Gota and Chandkheda, where flats hand over and wardrobes and kitchens follow within weeks. Both buy commercial plywood by the pallet and both punish an inconsistent lot. Keto Ply presses full core and full panel hardwood veneers with no gaps, overlaps or hollow patches, bonds them to IS 303 MR grade and calibrates the thickness so laminate lays flat and screws hold in the edge. BWR grade bonding is supplied on request where the panel will meet water.
Glue adhesion, moisture content and bending strength checks are run on production batches against IS 303 before the consignment is dispatched.
Full core and full panel veneers with no overlaps or hollow patches, so screws hold at the edge and the surface stays flat under laminate.
Direct dispatch to SG Highway, Prahlad Nagar, Bopal, Maninagar and Naroda workshops and sites, scheduled against the site programme.
Every Keto Ply panel carries the brand's borer, fungus and anti-termite guarantee in writing.
Six things Ahmedabad carpenters, interior contractors and furniture workshops check before they commit to a plywood brand by the truckload.
Request a Sample BoardEvery ply is a full panel veneer. There are no patch joints or hollow pockets inside the board, which is what makes the difference between a screw that holds in a shutter edge and one that strips out.
Sanded to IS 303 tolerance, so laminate and veneer lay without telegraphing the core lines through the surface on wardrobe shutters and large panels.
Kiln and air seasoning into the IS 303 moisture band keeps shutters straight through 45 degree summers and the monsoon humidity that follows, a cycle that warps under-seasoned boards within a season.
The chemical treatment cycle carries the Keto Ply anti-termite and anti-fungus guarantee, which matters wherever untreated commercial ply is eaten from the inside before the furniture is a few seasons old.
Kiln plus air seasoning brings moisture content into the 5 to 15 percent band IS 303 requires, so shutters stay straight and doors keep their line after installation.
Supplied from the Yamunanagar unit with dealer, workshop and project pricing for Ahmedabad, plus dealership openings across the Gandhinagar and Sanand belt.
Acceptance values laid down in IS 303 (Plywood for General Purposes - Specification), tested as per IS 1734.
| Test | Method | Requirement | What it means on site |
|---|---|---|---|
| Glue Adhesion (MR) | IS 1734 (Part 5) | Two cycles of 3 hours in 60°C water and 8 hours drying at 65°C | The glue line survives repeated damp and dry cycling, not just one soak. |
| Glue Adhesion (BWR) | IS 1734 (Part 5) | Three cycles of 8 hours boiling and 16 hours drying at 65°C | The step up grade for kitchens, bathrooms and coastal projects. |
| Moisture Content | IS 1734 (Part 1) | Not less than 5% and not more than 15% | A properly seasoned board that will not warp after installation. |
| Bending Strength (MR) | IS 1734 | MOR 30 N/mm² along and 15 across; MOE 4000 and 2000 N/mm² | Shelves and shutters carry load without sagging over time. |
| Mycological Test | IS 1734 (Part 7) | Pass for adhesion of plies | The bond resists fungal attack in humid interiors. |
These are the published IS 303 acceptance criteria for plywood for general purposes. The lot specific test report is issued with every project consignment.
