Moisture resistant plywood is built for exactly that cycle: a urea formaldehyde bond that survives repeated wetting and drying, on a core seasoned into the IS 303 moisture band so it does not swell and push a shutter out of line. Where the panel will meet standing water rather than damp air, we supply Keto Marine BWP grade to IS 710 instead, and we will say so before you order.

Request a Sample BoardIS 303 puts MR grade through two cycles of three hours in 60 degree water and eight hours of drying before the glue line is tested. That is the condition a wardrobe back on a Mumbai external wall actually lives in, not a single soak.
No patch joints, overlaps or hollow pockets, so there is no void inside the board where moisture can sit and work its way along the glue line.
Kiln plus air seasoning brings moisture content into the 5 to 15 percent band IS 303 requires, and calibrated sanding holds thickness, so shutters do not swell out of line after fitting.
Mumbai humidity is what turns untreated plywood into food. The treatment cycle carries the Keto Ply anti-termite and anti-fungus guarantee, and in a coastal flat that is the difference that shows up three monsoons later.
