It swings, slams, gets leaned on, pushed with a foot and knocked by furniture, thousands of times across its life, and IS 2202 tests it accordingly: fifty to a hundred successive slams with no visible damage, twenty five shock blows on each end, a buckling test that allows no more than 5 mm of residual deformation, and an indentation limit of 0.2 mm. Those are not panel tests. Bhilwara's door population is mostly industrial: mill admin blocks, supervisor cabins, record rooms and worker facilities across the Pur Road and Hamirgarh belt, where a shutter is opened by a different shift three times a day and nobody closes it gently.
